Description
Level Wing’s Mini Speed Wing Hybrid
NEW Flame 2 | sizes 7, 8.5, 10, 13, 16 & 19
The Flame 2 keeps the innovative, accessible and playful spirit of its iconic first version, offering access to miniwing flight and pure speedflying for all. The Flame 2 offers a fun and intuitive approach, and raises the bar in responsiveness, speed, dive and precision. It preserves the essential balance between performance and pleasure, while integrating recent developments in pure speedflying.
The Flame 2 integrates technical advances to push the limits of the experience. Its new profile provides better exploitation of flight angles; the redesigned air intakes optimize internal pressure; the redesigned arc improves the overall efficiency of the wing; the mini-ribs on the trailing edge reduce drag, increase speed and performance.
The turn coordination is refined, offering a precise and fluid response, a deeper dive for access to more committed lines. Its recovery arc is longer and the resource free flattening allows for long and easy swoops.
The Flame 2 is faster and steeper, while maintaining a superb energy restitution on demand, which characterizes the “Level touch”.
The 10cm trimmer range on ALL sizes gives a feeling of two different gliders in one. So your progression goes far with your Flame 2… Discover the handling of your wing when trimmers fully off…!
Usual caution applies: The Flame 2 is designed very resistant to turbulence. Any ram-air glider (including parakites) can collapse. Piloting instruction is the base and active piloting is the key to flying safe. As an example, holding outside pressure during a roll when trimmers are fully open.
The Flame 2 is the best to learn and exploit riser piloting, to the highest dimension of speedflying !
The FLAME 2 is pure fun flying, giving the pilot a great sense of freedom in the air. It has been developed to be flown with the reversible Fusion V3 harness, split legs. Level Wings is a France based company; Here’s a link to their website.
