Flame | Level Wings

A highly durable foot-launch Speed Flying wing with the glide & soaring performance of a paraglider but the handling, roll and dive characteristics, and passive safety of a high performance speed wing. Level Wings created a new breed of wing in a category of its own.

The FLAME  maintains a flat glide at the closed trim position for long transitions or light wind soaring. Long and progressive brake travel provides confidence during launch and more advanced flight manoeuvres. The wing delivers direct but not aggressive feedback allowing for precise piloting during turbulence, allowing the pilot to stay in control at all times. Behaviour similar to a traditional paraglider when flown trims closed making thermalling and XC flying achievable with a high margin of passive safety.

Fully releasing the trims of the FLAME significantly steepens the glide and increases the flying speed. Pilot authority over the handling increases with design characteristics taken from our speedwings. Progressive and controllable dive, smoother energy retention and exceptional roll speed allow for precise handling even in the larger sizes.

Outstanding Collapse Resistance

Profile and line layout have been optimised to provide an incredible collapse resistance. Francois Bon, the designer at Level Wings built on his experience in developing some of the industries most iconic speed wings and develop with the Flame a profile giving the pilot complete confidence at all flight configurations. The broad range presents an industry first in flight versatility. The Flame can also be used for powered flying (paramotoring) with a lots of fun potential!
